1.This photograph was taken from the railway bridge on Highgate in the early years of the 20th century. The gentleman is thought to be Mr Cooper who lived at Highgate House at that time.The Windmill which stood just off School Lane was demolished as was the row of cottages to the right of the windmill. The field to the right of the fence is now the playing field and bowling green. The house to the left of the picture is known as "Southview".

2.This photograph was taken from the green looking west. The cottages were destroyed by one of the bombs dropped on Helpringham in 1942 . The Memorial Hall now stands on this site.

3.This view of St. Andrew's church was taken from the corner of the green looking west. The building to the right of the picture was a grocer's shop owned by the Pidd family at the time the photo was taken. It later became the Co-op but is no longer a shop.

4.This view of the church was taken from the High Street looking East. The Willoughby de Broke Inn is the large building on the right of the picture.

5. The thatched cottage standing on the north side of North Fen Road in this photograph no longer exists while the buildings on the other side of the road are still there amongst more recent buildings.

6. This photograph of the Green, looking north was taken around 1906. The Blacksmith's to the right of the picture stood on the Green but burnt down soon after this photograph was taken. The remains of the old cross can be seen where the War Memorial now stands.
