Helpringham Feast Weekend 2014 As 2014 saw the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War the Helpringham History Society presented an exhibition entitled “Helpringham 1914” and featured displays relating to all aspects of life in the village as it was just before war was declared. This included a display of photographs, documents and artefacts from a bygone time when massive social changes were already on their way. Highlights of the exhibition included an Edwardian Photographer's Studio where visitors could have their photograh taken in Edwardian style; an exhibition of pre-First World War farming in Helpringham and a collection of Edwardian costumes.
