As 2011 was a year when the country celebrated a royal wedding it was decided that the theme for the Helpringham History Society’s display for the Feast Weekend would be "Weddings". On show in St Andrew’s Church were wedding dresses kindly lent to us from brides from every decade from 1920 to 1990, stories and photographs of weddings from the past one hundred years and a variety of wedding memorabilia. |
