Helpringham and District Garden Club |

Enjoy meeting with a friendly group on the 4th. Wednesday of each month. Annual Subs: £12.50 Visitors: £2.50 per session The Club’s Sunday visit to Springfield Gardens in April proved a very interesting and enjoyable experience. So much so, that those able to attend, have requested a repeat in the future. The train ride around the grounds was very popular and the welcome from the staff exceptionable, not to mention the tea and homemade cakes. Definitely an experience to consider in the future! The next meeting of the club is on Wednesday 24th May at 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall. The speaker will be Dave Newman and his topic will be “Small Scale Food Production.” Dave has spoken to us before and has been very popular. His last talk was on Victorian Gardens and before that an excellent talk on indoor plants, their care and suitability. The September trip to Hull, the City of Culture 2017, is now open to non-members. It is the only organised trip in the year which starts and finishes in the village – No trailing to Grantham on the journey which most coach companies insist is necessary.
